Mr. Wael Mahdy is an accomplished trading manager with over 24 years of experience in finance, focusing on both local and regional markets.
His analytical proficiency has been a fundamental asset in navigating multiple portfolios to profitability. Wael worked with Delma Brokerage and Al Awael Securities before bringing his expertise in trading various asset classes to Daman Securities in 2016.
Wael is licensed by the CISI and authorized by the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority. He is also a respected figure in financial media, frequently appearing on local TV channels. Wael holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Finance.
Mr. Mazen boasts over 18 years of distinguished professional experience and accomplishments within the financial services sector. His career includes a significant tenure as a licensed broker, where he managed VIP client portfolios at Global Gate Financial Services and Rasmala. Additionally, Mazen held the position of Trading Manager for a decade at Global for Shares and Bonds, where he specialized in trading in both local markets and on Nasdaq Dubai.
With over 17 years in equity trading and client relationship management, Mohamed Magdy serves as the Global Markets Trading Manager at Daman Securities. With a robust background in global financial markets, he manages the US and Global markets trading operations involving continuous monitoring of global markets, ensuring compliance with international trading regulations, and optimizing trade execution processes.
He effectively leads a team of traders, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving the firm’s financial goals. Their strategic insight and proactive management have consistently enhanced the firm’s market presence and profitability.
Previously, he held positions at top brokerage firms Mena Corp and Prime Holding, where they have been instrumental in steering complex trading operations and implementing innovative trading strategies across multiple markets. Mohamed holds a bachelor’s degree from Cairo University in Egypt.
With over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, Mr. Abdel-Rahman brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as Business Development Manager at Daman Securities. He focuses in identifying strategic opportunities and fostering partnerships that enhance client services and expand market presence. His robust understanding of financial markets and dedication to client success drive Daman Securities growth and innovation.
Prior to joining Daman, Abdel-Rahman held key positions in notable financial institutions where he successfully led initiatives that significantly increased revenue and client acquisition.
Abdel-Rahman has a BSc in Finance and Accounting from the American University of Sharjah, and holds the CISI certifications.
Mr. Saleem Ammoury brings more than 20 years of finance and accounting expertise to his role as the Finance Manager at Daman Securities. As a seasoned finance professional, Saleem excels in financial oversight, strategic budgeting, and team leadership, significantly enhancing the financial stability and operational efficiency of the company. His extensive career includes pivotal roles in various finance and accounting firms, where he developed a deep understanding of the financial sector, setting a solid foundation for his current leadership position.
Mr. Essam’s is a seasoned professional with over 28 years of experience in the financial services sector. His expertise have been instrumental in establishing effective systems & controls at Daman Securities to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as per SCA & Central Bank’s AML regulations. Prior to joining Daman Securities in June,2011, Essam served in key roles at Al Awael Securities, Direct Broker for Financial Services and United Securities.
Mr. Ahmed brings nearly two decades of expertise to the financial services industry, marked by his recognition as a Certified Internal Controller by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI). Currently serving as the Compliance & Risk Officer at Daman Securities, Ahmed is at the forefront of overseeing the firm’s compliance and internal audit functions. His responsibilities extend to supervising policy enforcement across various departments, ensuring strict adherence to relevant rules and regulations. Additionally, Ahmed plays a critical role in managing the organization’s complete audit cycle, encompassing risk and control management related to operational efficiency, financial integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Holding an economics degree from one of Egypt’s most esteemed universities, Ahmed’s career trajectory includes a pivotal role as a Compliance and Risk Officer at a leading Middle Eastern brokerage before ascending to his current senior position at Daman Securities.
Mr. Moh’d Naser Rustom serves as the Operations Manager, bringing over 18 years of expertise in the brokerage industry within the UAE, complemented by a significant 6-year tenure in the Jordanian banking sector. A certified professional since 2008, he holds both CMA and CFM certifications, underscoring his proficiency in financial management and accounting. As a key component of the risk management team, Rustom plays a crucial role in overseeing the operational risk associated with Daman Securities functions. Furthermore, he is an active member of the Daman Securities team, contributing to the strategic development and implementation of new products and services within the company.
